The MICHELIN Guide Singapore has unveiled 11 new entrants to its 2025 Bib Gourmand list, bringing the current total to 89 establishments, up from 81 in 2024. This year’s selection reaffirms Singapore’s rich hawker heritage, with over 70% of the awardees being our beloved “street food” stalls that deliver standout flavours at affordable prices.

Among the new additions are 3 from the esteemed Old Airport Road Food Centre — Lao Fu Zi Fried Kway Teow, Nam Sing Hokkien Fried Mee, and To-Ricos Kway Chap. The latter impresses with its silky, broad rice noodles and an assortment of pork cuts like belly, trotters, intestines, and tripe, braised in a spiced soy-based gravy that hits all the right notes.

Modern Thai eatery Jungle makes the cut with its compact yet punchy menu, nestled in a cosy, warmly lit space. Think crab curry, chargrilled pork jowl, and a perfect sweet-sour-spicy balance in every dish.
Also joining the list is Kitchenman Nasi Lemak, where fragrant coconut rice, fiery sambal and crispy ayam berempah (spiced fried chicken) come together in a Malaysian-style plate that’s simple but immensely satisfying.

Kotuwa, a vibrant Sri Lankan restaurant, has earned a spot with its robust seafood offerings and comforting curries. Be sure to try their standout dish: a warmly spiced crab curry rich in cinnamon and layered depth (best mopped up with crisp-edged hoppers).
For something heartier, head to Sin Heng Claypot Bak Koot Teh, a second-generation eatery known for its peppery pork rib soup and a claypot sesame oil chicken that’s rich with nutty aroma and sweetness.
Wok Hei Hor Fun, a local favourite for over 30 years, secures a spot with its charred rice noodles blanketed in a luscious gravy (intensely packed with wok hei, of course), while Song Kee Teochew Fish Porridge impresses with deboned mackerel in a comforting porridge, elevated with coriander and Chinese celery.

Rounding off the list are 2 long-time favourites moving up from the MICHELIN Selected list, Boon Tong Kee (Balestier Road) and Ji Ji Noodle House, respectively known for tender poached chicken and loaded wanton mee.
Look forward to the full MICHELIN Guide Singapore 2025 selection, which will include highly anticipated Star-rated restaurants, released on 24 July 2025 via the MICHELIN Guide website and app. For now, the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand list 2025 picks offer a delicious preview of some of the nation’s most beloved value-for-money culinary gems.
