3. Kumo Kumo Cheese
Expected opening: September

The iconic orange storefront of Kumo Kumo Cheese will soon be arriving at Paradigm Mall JB this September.
Originally from Shanghai, the bakery is best known for its light, fluffy Japanese-style soufflé cheesecakes that are baked fresh throughout the day. Their soft, cloud-like texture has made them a social media favourite.
Besides the classic Original flavour, customers can also look forward to seasonal and specialty options like Durian, Dubai Chocolate, and other rotating flavours.
4. Pepper Lunch
Expected opening: September

Fans of sizzling hotplate meals can soon get their fix at Pepper Lunch, which is slated to open this September.
The popular Japanese fast-casual chain is famous for serving meals on its signature iron plates that stay hot long after they reach your table. Diners mix everything together themselves, allowing the meat to finish cooking while soaking up the restaurant’s signature sauces.
The crowd favourite is the classic Beef Pepper Rice, featuring thinly sliced beef, rice, sweet corn and plenty of black pepper. There are also hearty steak platters, chicken and salmon combinations, plus hotplate pasta and Japanese curry dishes if you’re after something different.
5. Verrona Hills Bread & Patisserie

Johor Bahru’s beloved Verrona Hills Bread & Patisserie is also joining the lineup, bringing its premium European-inspired bakes to Paradigm Mall JB.
The bakery is known for using French butter across its range of handcrafted pastries and breads. Expect more than 80 freshly baked varieties, including its signature Basque Cheese Tissue Toast and soft, pillowy Charcoal Swiss Roll, alongside plenty of viennoiseries and sweet treats.
6. Nando’s

Paradigm Mall JB will also be welcoming Nando’s, giving shoppers another reliable option whenever those Peri-Peri cravings hit.
The restaurant is famous for its Afro-Portuguese flame-grilled chicken, marinated for 24 hours before being grilled over an open flame. Alongside the signature chicken, the menu also features burgers, wraps, sharing platters and classic sides like PERi-PERi fries, coleslaw and spicy rice.
