Wine lovers rejoice! Marina Bay Sands is hosting its inaugural wine festival, Beyond the Cellar, from 15 Aug to 6 Sep 2026. As the name suggests, the festival extends beyond the cellar to include 8 celebrated restaurants. There will be wines from distinguished and upcoming regions, as well as curated masterclasses and exclusive wine dinners.

The key highlight of this wine festival, to me, is the ‘wine passport’ event. I like that it’s themed as a journey, with stamps to be collected on the passport as you discover excellent wines. The 8 restaurants participating in this event are Maison Boulud, Jin Ting Wan, Mott 32, CUT, LAVO, Wakuda, estiatorio Milos and KOMA.
Each glass of specially curated wine ordered at these restaurants will earn 1 stamp on the wine passport. The wines range from S$20 to S$25 per glass. Once you collect a minimum of 6 stamps from different participating restaurants, you’ll be able to redeem a 375ml bottle of Duval-Leroy Brut.
Successful travellers on this wine journey can collect their rewards from 15 Aug to 6 Sep at Hotel Tower 3 Lobby, Origin + Bloom, from 7am to 8.30pm daily.

Besides travelling on a wine adventure to get stamps for the wine passport, there will also be masterclasses and wine dinners.
The masterclasses are The Science of Riedel, which will be led by Jean-Baptiste Cherriere, Riedel Vice President of Sales Asia Pacific, uncovering the science of glassware and its impact on wine, The Artistry of Chinese Terroir led by Marina Bay Sands’ Wine Director Britt Ng and Jin Ting Wan’s Head Sommelier Joe Yang exploring various Chinese wines, and Greek Wine Odyssey led by Global Beverage Director of estiatorio Milos, Mr. Dimitris Zafeiropoulos who will delve into key producers who shape the country’s modern wine culture.
The wine dinners are Art of Grace: A Japanese Wine Dinner with Ayana Misawa at Wakuda Restaurant & Bar, An American Wine Journey with Jackson Family Wines at Maison Boulud, Akita Energy: Yamamoto Sake & Flavours of KOMA at KOMA, Domaine De Long Dai: The Complete Collection at Jin Ting Wan, and A Chateau Pavie Prestige Dinner with Master Sommelier João Pires at CUT.
