New Cantine Corner at Admiralty Place has $3 meals available at every stall

With ongoing inflation and not to mention the increase in GST to 8% (slated to increase by 9% next year),  it’s safe to say that budgeting has never been more important. Thankfully, the newly built Admiralty Place houses a new Cantine Corner with each store offering a budget meal priced only at S$3.

Just because a S$3 meal exists in every stall doesn’t mean said stalls are pushovers or school canteen quality. There are notable names in the mix, such as Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang which was featured in Michelin Guide Singapore 2022, and ABC Express brought to you by the ABC Group of Restaurants, which is known for the extensive Indian cuisine menu with outlets scattered across the country.

You also have other stalls such as Chicken Do Ayam Penyet, Ba Xian Vegetarian, Fitra Chicken Rice, Hari-Hari Yong Tau Foo, He Korean & Japanese and Thai Makan.

So what can S$3 get you? Quite a fair bit, actually.

You have choices such as Bakso Bee Hoon Soup, Banana Prata, Chicken Macaroni, Fried Bee Hoon, Kimchi Ramen, Tom Yum Soup with Mama Noodles, Mee Siam and Fried Bee Hoon.

As an added bonus, you have drinks options such as Kopi O and Teh O at S$1. Early risers can also enjoy the Traditional Kaya Toast Set (S$2.80 for the public or S$2.20 for NTUC Union Members) every morning till 11am.

Wealth is nothing without health, which is why every stall also has at least 1 healthier choice item under 500 calories that are certified by the Health Promotion Board.
