Sabah-based dessert brand Chunk & Dunk is set to open its first Kuala Lumpur outlet this September, marking its debut in Peninsular Malaysia and bringing its signature croffles, shaved ice and other menu favourites to KL.

Founded by content creator and entrepreneur Adam Shamil, Chunk & Dunk first gained popularity in Kota Kinabalu for its crispy croffles and indulgent dessert creations. Since its launch in 2024, the brand has expanded across Sabah and established a growing following among the locals.

The brand also expanded internationally earlier this year with the opening of its first outlet in Manila, Philippines, before setting its sights on Peninsular Malaysia.

While the location of its upcoming KL outlet has not been officially confirmed, IOI City Mall in Putrajaya has been speculated as the potential location following the brand’s recent announcement. More details are expected to be revealed closer to the opening.

At the heart of Chunk & Dunk’s menu are its signature Crunchiest Croffles, which combine the crisp texture of a croissant with the shape of a waffle. Customers can choose from a range of toppings, including Lotus Biscoff, matcha, pistachio, cream cheese and milk chocolate, alongside a savoury chicken floss option.

The menu extends beyond croffles, featuring Finest Shaved Ice in flavours such as avocado, Thai tea, lychee and Belgian chocolate. These can be customised with toppings including Biscoff crumbs, gula apong crumbs, grass jelly, chocolate nibs and fruit.

Other offerings include mini croffles with dipping sauces, chunky fries, beef burgers and spaghetti Bolognese, while its drinks lineup includes pistachio and chocolate-based beverages.

After growing its presence across Sabah and making its first move overseas, Chunk & Dunk is now heading to Peninsular Malaysia. Its first KL outlet is slated to open this September, with more details on the exact location and opening date expected to be revealed soon.
