Two concurrent seasons call for a celebration: the durian fiesta and 5-pax dining-in. Oh, how we waited for this. When you’re heading out for a family meal this weekend, skip the restaurants (which probably are snaking with queues, anyway) and stop by the Durian Market at Labrador Park for some dessert with al-fresco dining.

Their foray into the durian market this season, Frozen & Co’s weekend pop-up durian market, is held over two weekends, from Friday to Sunday: July 9 to July 11 2021, and July 16 to July 18 2021. It’s located at The Three Peacocks, with a separate dining area from it.

The belle of the ball, Mao Shan Wang Durians, are sold in 200g boxes for S$12, limited to two boxes per customer. But of course, when it comes to MSW, more is more, so you can purchase the premium ones at S$29.90 per 400g.

The space at this market is ample, yes, but so is their durian range. Spot other varieties like Old Tree Pahang MSW (S$35.90 per 400g), Blackgold MSW (S$37.90 per 400g), and Red Prawn D13 (S$22.90per 400g). You can also choose your durians, so take your pick for the finest of the lot and have them opened on the spot—a delicious, grand showing that yield’s simple pleasures.

Due to high delivery costs, delivery service for these delicious loots is unavailable, so head down for some fresh air and fruit. Bask in a cosy ambience of fairy lights and greenery as you savour the creamy durians and quality time. Alternatively, take away and relish them in the comforts of your home.

The Durian Market is held this coming weekend, July 16 to July 18 2021, from 6pm to 8pm, with a 5-pax cap for dining-in at their alfresco dining area. The takeaway option is also available.
