Hua Zai Hong Kong Style Roasted Delight has planted its seeds around the whole of Singapore, having multiple stores in every zone of Singapore. Infamous for their opening promotions for cheap plates of rice or dishes, they’ve attracted people all around Singapore for their cheap prices. Now, for the lucky West siders, Hua Zai Hong Kong Style Roasted Delight has opened a new outlet at 727 Clementi West Street 2 offering S$1 Smoked Duck Rice/Noodles to everyone!

From opening outlets at Hougang, Serangoon, and Tampines to Bukit Batok and Clementi, they’ve opened a whole chain of stores around the whole of Singapore. They’ve celebrated by providing promising deals that one can’t complain about. The promotion is available till the end of Dec 2022 and is limited to 3 packs per person. So don’t go too crazy!

An old-school hawker stall chain which utilises the magic of word of mouth, they relay their promotions through organic means as they do not have an active social media presence. Hence, netizens have used the platform of Facebook to promote these great deals.

For duck rice lovers, this is the time to celebrate because your plate of duck rice is now nearly 80% off. Previously, people have already been commenting that Hua Zai Hong Kong Style Roasted Delight has been serving good food at reasonable prices. For a plate of Smoked Duck Rice and Noodles specifically, they were originally priced at S$3.50 and S$4 respectively. Now for S$1, you could get either a bowl of Smoked Duck Rice or Smoked Duck Noodles.

The smoked duck is meaty and not overly tough, paired with springy mee kia noodles and pork lard.

On the menu, there are other items available for consumption too. There’s quarter portions— something that is quite uncommon in other roast meats stores! Other stores usually have full and half portions of meats only, but over here, it is S$4 for a quarter of Soy Sauce Chicken and S$12 for a quarter of a Roasted Duck.

The Singaporean crowd will never run away from lobangs and cheap prices, so I forsee a long queue outside their new opening at Clementi for the next month or so with this ongoing promotion.
