Hey, do you wanna play a game? Specifically… do you want to play a game and get easy money? If your answer is yes, then it’s time to Hunt the Mouse, Sentosa-style. A grand total of S$100,000 has been hidden in Sentosa, and all of it must be found within 16 days.

Created by gamification company Sqkii, Hunt the Mouse has been running since 2017. Over the years, they’ve hosted various versions of this event, and the prize pot has been as high as a million Singapore dollars.
Hunt the Mouse Sentosa Edition is on from now until 23 Mar 2025, and hints will be dropped daily on Sqkii’s social media channels. The game is free to play and anyone can join in, be they tourists or Singaporean residents. There are 60 coins worth S$1,000 each and 4 coins worth S$10,000 each up for grabs.
The website can only be accessed via mobile phones, and first-timers are reminded that at no point in the game will participants need to put themselves at risk, or damage property to find the coins. The coins will also not be buried underground or underwater, and will not be hidden in any restricted areas.
(Please be safe while playing this game and do not run afoul of the law.)
There are also daily rewards for checking in regularly. To redeem these, you will need to activate your phone’s GPS, and physically be in Sentosa.
There’s also an interactive map to help you along in your hunt, and it also shows where coins have previously been found by other hunters.
With the March holidays just around the corner, Hunt the Mouse Sentosa is the perfect activity for the entire family – and who knows, you could come out several thousand bucks richer for it.
