Sometimes, we get hit with those specific late-night cravings. But we are often met with disappointment because late hours usually mean ‘closed’ signs or fast food. Korean foodies can rejoice, though – they can rely on Kelim Dakdoritang to get supper at an odd hour. Located in Serangoon Gardens, the restaurant recently announced that they will be open till 2am every day!

To further sweeten the deal, Kelim Dakdoritang is offering a 10% discount for customers that come in after 10pm until their last order at 1am. All they ask is that patrons like and share the Facebook post announcing their extended closing time. There’s free parking after 10pm, too, so those driving don’t have to fear any pesky night charges.

The restaurant’s main dish is the eponymous Dakdoritang, Spicy Chicken Stew (S$36.90 for Small, S$59.90 for Medium, $69.90 for Large). Both the stew of their Chicken Hot Pot (S$36.90 for Small, S$59.90 for Medium, S$69.90 for Large) would be great for a group of 2 to 4 friends to end their night warm-bellied.

Of course, Kelim Dakdoritang won’t deny customers on a solo supper trip. Maybe a plate of Hotteok (S$9.90 for 2 pieces), fried finger foods or side dishes would be the nighttime pick-me-up you need after hours.

No one is stopping you from getting that group-size pot dish if you’re confident you can finish it, though. (Please don’t take that as a challenge) They have à la carte options as well, like Bocumbap, Fried Rice (S$8).

So, if you’re ever out on a late night or craving supper, put Kelim Dakdoritang down on your list. Just make sure you don’t mind going to bed smelling spicy and garlicky. No judgment here.
