A night of hard partying. Overslept and missed dinner. Studying or working late. Stomach with a mind of its own. In my experience, those are the most common reasons Singaporeans find themselves hunting for food in the middle of the night.
So, I burned the midnight oil to find the 10 best late-night restaurants and cafes for when your stomach is growling at the moon.
How I chose these best late-night restaurants and cafes
These are the 3 main criteria I used to decide which eateries to recommend:
- Variety: I picked restaurants and cafes which offer different cuisines from one another so you can pick what’s best suited for you.
- Wide price range: These eateries cater to every budget.
- Accessibility: I included restaurants and cafes that open 24 hours daily, located in different parts of Singapore, so you can pick the one most convenient for you.
This isn’t a ranked best-to-worst list, but a collection of the best late-night restaurants and cafes overall, in no particular order. Get ready to fill your tummy up at these spots.

1. 89.7FM Supper Club

Didn’t plan your chalet getaway well enough and ran out of food, huh? Popular also with the men of the nearby Commando camp, the 89.7 FM Supper Club is here to save the night! Their fare is as varied as can be and includes Western, Indian, Malay, zi char and seafood; you might face choice paralysis here.

Craving some good ol’ local dishes? Options include Laksa Noodle (S$4.50), Fried Carrot Cake, Black/White (S$4.50) and Supper Club Nasi Lemak (S$5). Alternatively, order some zi char to share — how does Stir Fry Scallop with Broccoli (S$25/S$35) or Shrimp Ball with Toufu (S$20/S$30/S$40) sound? If you’re not in the mood for anything Chinese, there’s also dishes such as Satay (S$1 per piece, minimum of 5 pieces) and Rojak (S$6/S$8/S$10) for your choosing.

2. D’ Rubinah Restaurant Thai Muslim & Seafood

What the…? 40 types of prata and thosai? I didn’t even know they had that many in India, let alone at a 24-hour restaurant in Singapore. But there I was at D’ Rubinah Restaurant Thai Muslim & Seafood in Sembawang and in awe at the wall of options. Both my wallet and stomach love their restaurant, which seems to be immune to inflation.

You’ll be spoiled for choice here with the various dishes. Talking about affordability, their Egg Thosai (S$3) is served alongside veg dhall and chutney, truly a bang for your buck. The Masala Thosai ($4.50) is good, too, and a 2-piece Plain Prata Kosong (S$5) will hardly put a dent in anyone’s wallet. Of course, other non-prata options are available too, like Nasi Goreng Rubinah (S$12), Chicken Briyani (S$10) and Tandoori Chicken (S$8.50). There is also Nasi Lemak (S$4.50), Mee Siam (S$4.50) and Lontong (S$4) to savour.

3. 777 Island

777 Island is a 24-hour multi concept dining venue in Braddell Heights Community Club. You might find the name familiar, and that’s because it was founded by the same team that brought us 777 Coffeeshop. This 24-hour food hub serves as their flagship dining venue.

This venue brings several home-grown food stalls together under one roof, so you can expect plenty of choices for your late night munchies. Debuting with 5 concepts, including OK Chicken Rice, Humfull Prawn Laksa and Simply Western, you can alternate between local favourites and international delights here.
Popular dishes include Humfull Prawn Laksa’s All In 1 Laksa (S$10), beloved for its generous portions of juicy hum, prawns, and shredded chicken. You can also build your own standard meal starting from S$5.30 at OK Chicken Rice. Prefer international food? Go for Simply Western’s Chicken Chop (S$9.90) or Crispy Fish Fillet (S$10.90). The more the merrier — both of these dishes come with 2 sides.

4. Cafeela Roti Prata & Seafood Restaurant

When you can’t decide between Chinese, North Indian, Malay and seafood, there’s always Cafeela Roti Prata & Seafood Restaurant. With their extensive menu, you’ll find something to enjoy, be it a simple dish or a more substantial one. Located at Jalan Kayu, they are pretty accessible for a middle-of-the-night eatery. Plus, they deliver all night across the island.

Of course, you can get your prata fix here, with a Plain Prata coming in at S$2.10 and an Egg Prata costing S$3.40. If you are a meat lover, there’s also Roti John with Chicken, Mutton or Beef (S$7.80) and Murtabak with Chicken, Mutton and Beef (S$13).
The Indian Maggie Goreng (S$7.40) and Indian Mee Hoon Goreng (S$6.80) consistently make the favourites list of regular customers and for good reason. Flavourful and punchy, it’s sure to make your night. There is also a myriad of drinks to choose from to complement your meal, including Tea O (S$2.20) and Masala Tea (S$3.20).

5. Dim Sum Express

In need of some late-night dim sum to satisfy your cravings? Dim Sum Express is here to save you! This popular establishment has various 24-hour stalls islandwide. What’s more attractive than affordable food? All their dishes are priced at S$1.50 — yes, all. From the seafood-filled dim sum to congee bowls, everything is S$1.50. With this wallet-friendly pricing, you can eat to your heart’s content. Best of all, if you buy 10 dishes, you get 1 free!

Comfort will be delivered to you in the form of a porridge with the Century Egg Pork Porridge. Thick, creamy and served in a substantial portion, it’s simple and hearty. Other delicious options include Paper Wrapped Chicken and my all-time favourite, Prawn Chee Cheong Fun. Classics such as Siew Mai, Prawn Dumpling and Steamed Yam Cake are also available here. Bao lovers can indulge in their variety of baos, such as Big Bao, Char Siew Bao and Custard Bao.

6. Joji’s Diner

I believe that everyone in Singapore should visit Joji’s Diner at least once in their lifetime. Why not drop by in the wee hours of the night to avoid the ungodly long queues? After all, they operate for 24 hours a day. This American-style retro diner has become one of Singapore’s most talked about restaurants, and with good reason. The charming aesthetics and decoration make great photo backdrops, and the food doesn’t disappoint either.

Be sure to get the Chicken & Waffle (S$14.90), which combines a large piece of juicy fried chicken with a sweet, crispy waffle and an egg. I was surprised at how the chicken and the waffle came together nicely. If the sweet and savoury combination isn’t for you, go for the Smash Burger (S$14.90), containing 2 smashed patties, bacon, cheese, mustard, pickles, onions and a generous side of crisp curly fries.
There’s always space for dessert, right? Don’t miss out on the Blueberry Ice Cream Pancake (S$14.90), a stack of 2 fresh, thick American buttermilk pancakes served with homemade wild blueberry compote, banana and ice cream.

7. Miss Saigon

Miss Saigon isn’t just an award-winning musical—it’s a Vietnamese restaurant in Orchard Plaza too! The quaint shop was opened by the founder of the highly popular Bánh Mì Saigon in Ang Mo Kio. If you’re a fan of Bánh Mì Saigon’s Vietnamese sandwiches, you’ll be delighted to hear that you can also get them here.

The Banh Mi Cha Lua (S$9.90), also known as Traditional Bread in English, is stuffed generously with slices of mixed ham, as well as bits of refreshing veggies. Other authentic Vietnamese dishes, like Pho Ga (S$12) is a good choice if you want something comforting and soupy during the cold late night. If you want something more substantial, Bun Ga Quay (S$10.90) offers fine rice noodles, salt-baked roast chicken and vegetables in one bowl. What’s dining at a Vietnamese establishment without enjoying some Goi cuon tom thit (S$9.90 for 3 pieces)? Also known as fresh spring rolls, you can find it at Miss Saigon as well, yum.

8. Takagi Ramen

Takagi Ramen will always be one of my favourite ramen shops in Singapore. Not only are they a homegrown brand, but you can easily find their 24-hour outlets all over the country, making it extra convenient to get your ramen fix whenever you want. The affordable menu items are pretty wallet-friendly too.

The Chashumen (S$10.90), topped with generous slices of cha shu, is a safe option to go for. If you’re feeling fancy, order the Salted Egg Crab Ramen (S$16.50) with tangy chilli-crab sauce, roasted seaweed, spring onions and a gooey Japanese Ajitama egg. It’s served with a bowl of their Signature 12-hour boiled tonkotsu soup.
Takagi Ramen is constantly innovating with its menu too, frequently launching limited time dishes. They’ve offered creations like pumpkin ramen, cockles ramen and even prawn ramen topped with mealworms (for Halloween, of course). Who knows what else they’ll come up with? You’ll only know if you head down!

9. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is the perfect spot for a late night coffee run — many of their stores are open for 24 hours. Regardless of whether you live in Hougang, Bishan, Thomson, Jurong, Bedok or Marine Parade, you’ll likely be able to find a Coffee Bean that is open at all hours of the day. The full list of 24-hour outlets can be found here.

Sip on your favourite drink, like a classic Cold Brew Vanilla Bean (S$7.60) and Cafe Latte (S$8.40), or opt for something more unique such as the Watermelon Mint Lychee Cold Brew Tea (S$9.50) or Cold Brew Salted Caramel Latte (S$9.20). My go-to is the Mocha Ice Blended (S$9.80). Whatever you prefer, there’s something for everyone here. Don’t forget to try their Chicago Cheesecake (S$8.80) — it’s divine! Got a serious case of the munchies? You can also feast on a selection of sandwiches, pasta, pizzas, and salads! Do note that prices may vary from store to store.

10. Cafe de Muse

Fancy a very early (or really, really late) breakfast in the middle of the night? Cafe de Muse is the place to be with its Western-Korean fusion options, as well as speciality coffees and teas. Located at Shaw House, it’s a great option for the night owls who like to hang out around Orchard Road.

For something that leans towards the Korean side of the fusion, go for the Kimchi Fried Rice (S$21), which is sticky rice fried with tangy kimchi, spring onions, seaweed, cheese, and a fried egg. Seafood lovers can go for the Teriyaki Grilled Salmon (S$29), a totally Instagrammable dish where grilled salmon is served with brown rice, seared leek and savoury teriyaki sauce.
Tired from your long night? There are speciality coffees such as the traditional Americano (S$6/S$7) and sweet Vanilla Latte (S$7/S$8) for you to get your caffeine fix. If you prefer something more unique, there are hand-drip coffees available as well. For those with a sweet tooth, Kenya (S$13) is the way to go with its sugary notes. Meanwhile, those who like fruity notes in their coffees can opt for Ethiopia (S$12) instead.
