If you ask any Singaporean to tell you it’s the month of August without telling you it’s August, National Day-inspired promotions, collabs, drops, and launches will definitely be the first thing that comes to mind. There are zero complaints from me, seeing as my friends and I absolutely love KFC’s Cereal Chicken and Ondeh-Ondeh Tarts. KFC is collaborating with local fashion designer Amos Yeo to bring you the KFC x AMOS ANANDA streetwear capsule collection: STATE: ORIGINAL, so that you can eat your favourite fried chicken and rep it in your OOTD shots too.

This collection was inspired by KFC’s ‘Always Original’ brand positioning and is the first partnership between a fast-food joint and a Singaporean fashion designer. STATE: Original features 11 limited-edition pieces of apparel ranging from merchandise such as tote bags to jackets, hoodies, and even bucket hats.

If you’re looking to stand out from the crowd, make sure you camp for the Asymmetric Colonel Sanders Shirt by KFC x AMOS ANANDA (S$39.90), because only five lucky people will get to purchase it. I don’t know much about Pokémon, but this is a rare one for sure.

The collaboration also includes a range of bottoms including the Red Colonel Sanders Shorts by KFC x AMOS ANANDA (S$29.90), alongside the Jogger Pants with Reflective Patch by KFC x AMOS ANANDA (S$79.90). Not only will you be helping to #supportlocal, you’ll also be aptly decked in our nation’s vibrant colours this National Day.

No outfit is complete without a stylish accessory or two to seal it all together, and the (very red) cherry on top of this collection is the Always Original Tote Bag by KFC x AMOS ANADA (S$19.90) that boasts the signature red and white stripes on KFC’s fried chicken boxes. It even matches perfectly with the Signature Reversible Bucket Hat by KFC x AMOS ANADA (S$29.90), which will definitely show your loyalty to the fast food brand.

KFC is also partnering with Shopee to launch its official KFC store with deals starting from S$0.80. The limited-edition KFC X AMOS ANANDA collection will also be available on Shopee from National Day onwards.
