A mere week ago, McDonald’s Singapore surprised us with the return of their Purple Sweet Potato Waffle Cone to beat our summer heat. This time around, they are back to delight with a brand new breakfast item—Donut Sticks!

Making its debut in Singapore on 27 February 2020, McDonald’s Donut Sticks (S$2.20 a la carte) are crisp on the outside yet, soft and chewy inside. Not only that, these golden-brown sticks are sprinkled generously with cinnamon sugar, making them the ideal breakfast time to kick start your day.

A hybrid between the traditional you tiao (fried dough fritters) and Spanish churros, these Donut Sticks come in a packet of six, packed conveniently if you are on the move or require a quick pick-me-up to go.

Tasty eaten alone, the Donut Sticks taste even better paired with a cup of McCafé Premium Roast Coffee (S$3 for a set). For an added kick, try dunking this sugary goodness into coffee and savour its unique sweet-bitterness.

The new Donut Sticks are available during breakfast hours from 4am to 11am daily at all McDonald’s outlets (except Singapore Science Centre and LIDO), McCafé outlets, and through delivery services such as McDelivery and GrabFood.

McDonald’s Donut Sticks are, in fact, not unique in Singapore as they were first launched previously in the United States earlier last year. Well, we are definitely not complaining as long as they keep more new and exciting items coming!

Dates & Times: Available from 27 February 2020 at all McDonald’s and McCafé outlets (except Singapore Science Centre and LIDO), McDelivery and GrabFood

Price: S$2.20 (a la carte), S$3 (set with McCafé Premium Roast Coffee)
