Get ready to be blown away by this twist on a traditional CNY dish: Pufferfish (otherwise known as fugu) Yusheng.
That’s right, PARKROYAL’s Si Chuan Dou Hua is the first in Singapore to offer yu sheng with fugu sashimi from 15 January – 2 March 2018 to welcome the new year!
The Bountiful Blessings Yusheng ($178/$198) features fugu sashimi directly imported from the fugu capital of Shimonoseki. Therefore, you can rest assured that the fugu will be fresh and of a high quality.
Additionally, you can opt for your fugu to be plated in different shapes. There are two choices; the Crane-Shaped Sashimi ($178) or the Dog-Shaped Sashimi ($198).
Besides yu sheng, there’s also the Prosperity Pen Cai With Fugu Udon Noodles ($438 for 4 – 6 pax, $688 for 8 – 10 pax).
Apart from the usual decadent ingredients (abalone, fish maw, sea cucumber and etc), this dish boasts a treasure like no other. Hidden beneath the ingredients are fugu udon noodles made with fresh fugu paste.
This CNY, try something new and bring your whole kampong along for these exquisite dishes. But remember, don’t put too much in your mouth at once, lest you end up looking exactly like what you’re eating!
