Not so much a New in Town as much as a back in town. The Feather Blade is no spring chicken and has made its waves way back in 2019 as a pop-up and then as a permanent fixture along Club Street. After a short hiatus, The Feather Blade is back with their winning steaks in their new home in the heart of Tanjong Pagar.

Look forward their trademark Feather Blade Steak (S$21), the mouthwatering Handshake Burger (S$21) and ever scrumptious Gyudon (S$28). Just thinking about them is making my mouth water and tummy rumble. When you’re at The Feather Blade, one has to definitely order their sides and lucky for you they just keep getting better.

I’ll never say no to any kind of tater, and the Potatoes (S$9) at these come lovingly dressed in wagyu beef fat, draped with dollops of dill cream, and ikura. At the same time, the long time favourite of Smoked Corn (S$8) comes with a smoky spin to keep us on our toes. The wide array of sauces are one of my favourite things about The Feather Blade, and they have swapped out their Red Wine to the luscious Uni Butter (S$8)

Another exciting thing about is their drinks programme. Helmed by Diageo World Class winner Boo Jing Heng, the masterfully rehauled drinks are both fun and exciting. From the beef-inspired cocktails to bubble smoked martinis, imbibing has never been this fun. Just in time for Chinese New Year, the Bak Kwa Martini (S$18) features your classic dirty martini paired with beef jerky for that playful twist.

Of course, the one that I’m most looking forward to has to be the Milkshake & Cookie (S$18, Non-Alcoholic; S$24 Alcoholic). A thick, glorious NY-style chunky cookie by Chatsworth Cookies comes accompanied by a luscious rum-based dark chocolate milk chocolate. How can anyone possibly say no to that?

The Feather Blade’s doors are already open for business and given their popularity seats will be snapped up pretty quickly.
