Breakfast is so underrated but it’s honestly my favourite meal of the day. Brekkie food has the perfect balance of sweet and savoury to begin your day with, and the right breakfast can do wonders for your mood. And now, you can’t say no to Walking On Sunshine from Orchard.  It’s not just any regular eat-all-you-can breakfast menu, but a Kroffle Buffet (S$14.90)!

You must be wondering, what’s a kroffle? This pastry that’s gained immense popularity in Korea is a mix of a croissant and a waffle. Croissants are pressed in a waffle pan to give you the crispy texture of a waffle and the buttery taste of a croissant. Walking On Sunshine’s Kroffle Buffet is available daily between 9am to 12pm (last order at 11am), so go early and binge eat!

You have the option to choose from eight flavours, and since it’s a buffet make sure you get your money’s worth and try all of them. À la carte, they’re each available at S$6.90. There are classic ones like Chocolate, Mixed Berry, and Cinnamon. My eyes are glued to the unique flavours like Lime-Avocado, Honey-Mustard Cream Cheese, and Bacon-Mash Potato, but they’ve got a couple more that are worthy of your attention too.

For the kroffle buffet, terms and conditions apply. You can’t takeaway and the offer is invalid with other promotions, discounts, or vouchers. To ensure that there isn’t any food wastage, each customer is served two kroffles at a time.

Some of their other brunch dishes that are crowd favourites include the Bulgogi Beef & Mixed Beans Salad (S$25), Eggs Benedict With Bacon (S$19), and Kimchi Pizza (S$19).

Something else that makes this cafe stand out is how it’s a hair salon and a cafe all in one! So before going to get your hair done, you can step into the cafe and refresh yourself with a hearty breakfast. Have we also mentioned how it’s garden-themed and extremely insta-worthy? Definitely more reasons than one to drop by this super cool spot.
