While it’s certainly not Christmas just yet, 96 Oriental Broth @ AMK has a present for their diners. As they just opened their second outlet on 12 Dec, they are giving diners a 50% off promotion until Christmas day

It’s nestled in an industrial park canteen, so you may have to go a bit out of your way to eat there. But the combination of the promotion and what you can expect is well worth the visit.

96 Oriental Broth serves up a fusion Japanese hotpot and grill experience. The hotpot sits atop a hot grill plate, letting you have the best of both worlds.

The hotpot uses 96 Oriental Broth’s signature Tonkotsu broth and has a large variety of ingredients for you to choose from. Some favourites of diners are the Iberico Pork Collar (S$15.60), Prawn Ball with Roe (S$2.90), Bacon Streaks (S$10.60), and Ramen (S$2)

You don’t have to stick to individual orders as they also offer sets that contain an array. For example, the Pork Collar set (S$29) includes pork collar, tiger prawns, spam, minced meat, crabsticks, fish slices, veggies, mushrooms, egg and vermicelli.

Customers mentioned in their reviews that 96 Oriental Broth does not use MSG in their soup. You don’t have to worry about getting thirsty after drinking the broth here.

The grilled menu is the newest addition and is exclusive to the AMK outlet. It is a good opportunity to have both and see which tickles your fancy.

96 Oriental Broth isn’t done with just adding grilling to its menu. They are planning to have deep-frying as an option as well, though further details have yet to be revealed. Maybe keep an eye on their Facebook to see what they get up to next.
