It’s no secret that us SETHLUI.com writers are avid fans of the coconut shake. We had Nicole’s coconut shake showdown first, and then Vera’s easy coconut shake recipe, and now, fans of that creamy, refreshing drink will want to take note of this—Mr Coconut has opened its very first cloud kitchen at Tampines Mart.

Mr Coconut will be available every day from 11am to 10pm via GrabFood. You know what this means? There will be no more snaking queues, and no more long waits of over half an hour. Easties will no longer need to leave the comfort of their homes to get their fix of this addictive drink, and I can just hear Vera proclaiming that this is just another in the long list of reasons as to why the East side is the best side.

Their menu of coconut-based drinks will be available for purchase, including their signature Coconut Shake (S$5.60) that even I, myself, have spent an embarrassingly long time queuing up for. They also offer a Cappuccino Shake (S$7.10) for those who cannot decide between a coconut shake and their coffee fix.

If you’re looking to shake things up, they also have Bubble Chocolate Coconut (S$6.10), a rich and decadent iteration of their usual shake, topped with pearls. You can also go all out with their Coconut Latte (S$6.80) or a Gula Melaka Cocolatte (S$7)—the perfect pick me up on long days with back-to-back Zoom meetings.

The snaking queues outside those familiar blue stalls definitely don’t lie, and neither will we—Mr Coconut has reigned supreme, and in my oh-so humble opinion, rightfully so. With that said, it’s definitely fingers crossed on my end that a cloud kitchen opens in the Central area, next. My wallet isn’t ready for L-sized ice-cold shakes, but I definitely am.
