Have you ever bitten into a Chicken McCrispy and wished you had a higher spice tolerance? Well, McDonald’s has heard your prayers. From 30 June 2022, McDonald‘s will be launching a new Chicken McCrispy Salt & Pepper, which will be a non-spicy version of the existing Chicken McCrispy Spicy.

Chicken McCrispy Salt & Pepper (2pc) (from S$6.60) comes with one chicken thigh and one drumstick. The succulent pieces of meat are coated in a blend of salt, pepper and parsley flakes. They are then flash fried for the iconic crunch Singaporeans love, resulting in a crunchy savoury skin that’s paired together with moist, tender meat, without the spiciness.

Chicken McCrispy Salt & Pepper (2pc) Extra Value Meal (from S$8.60) has one chicken thigh, one drumstick, and comes with medium fries and a small coke.

If you are intending to get a bucket to share, Chicken McCrispy Salt & Pepper (6pc) (from S$18.30) is the way to go, with three chicken thighs and three drumsticks.

McDonald’s also has a new Grapefruit McFizz (from S$3.20) so that one can savour bubbly sips of the zesty grapefruit drink to refresh oneself after the meal. This will wash down the Chicken McCrispy Salt & Pepper well.

Before you get too excited, the Chicken McCrispy is not available at the following McDonald’s outlets: Shell Tampines, Shell Hougang, Shell Havelock, Clementi Avenue 3, Parklane, and Tampines Kiosk.

For the rest of us, the Chicken McCrispy Salt & Pepper will be available starting 30 June 2022, so head down to give this limited flavour a try before it’s gone.
