Prior to opening his hotpot restaurant, Chef Chen had travelled to Bangkok with his family where he was blown away after having his first taste of authentic Thai tom yum goong soup. He decided to resign from his position and travelled to Thailand for several months, perfecting the art of cooking the famous Thai soup.
