Swish Rolls have been adored thanks to their innovative croons, and they’re now selling exclusive new innovations at their pop up in Paragon from 10 Apr to 24 May 2023.

Swish Rolls — Sign

As an avid lover of croissants (and the hard work that goes into them), I was pumped to try out their new products. Especially so since these goods will be freshly launched, I simply couldn’t miss them for fear of missing out.

Swish Rolls‘ pop up was tucked away in a corner at Paragon, replacing the Tiger Sugar stall that was previously there. With spotlights placed on the delicious treats, there was no doubt what the star of the show was! The list of the new products were not few, and catered to many different tastes.

Swish Rolls — Corn Flake Honey Croissant

Looking at the sweet selection, comprising the Original/Mochi Croissant Egg Tart (S$2.50), Corn Flake Honey Croissant (S$5), Berries Cheese Croissant Cup (S$6.80) and Pistachio Lemon Croissant Cups (S$6.80), I was spoilt for choice.

The Corn Flake Honey Croissant practically called my name. Despite being loaded with a generous amount of vanilla crème pâtissèrie, the croissant remained crispy thanks to that coating of brown sugar. I especially loved the honey-coated cornflakes, adding that chewiness on top of all the wonderful textures. As a sweet tooth, this one clearly made for a winner.

Swish Rolls — Egg Tarts

The Mochi Croissant Egg Tart packs a punch despite its bitty size. Surprisingly, its base was buttery and not as crumbly as a usual egg tart, which I adored. The egg filling was not too eggy, rather more creamy which went impeccably well with the croissant base. On the other hand, the chewy feel of the sweet mochi paired well with the flaky base, overall making it wholly satisfying.

Swish Rolls will be having a promotion for these bad boys, in which the first 6 Croissant Egg Tarts will be sold for S$2 rather than the usual S$2.50, quite a steal if I do say so myself.

During this pop up, Swish Rolls wanted to focus on providing more savoury items, with items like the Caprese Croissant Cup (S$7.50), Croque Madame (S$7.50)Truffle Parmesan Shio Pan (S$4.80) and Garlic Cream Cheese Shio Pan (S$4).

I was rather curious about the Caprese Croissant Cup. Was it possible to condense all the flavours in a caprese salad into a croissant? Apparently, yes! The tang of the cherry tomatoes tasted amazing with the ricotta cheese spread, the sour being a great refresher from the sweet items.

However, I have heard great comments on the Truffle Parmesan Shio Pan. Having a piece of truffle butter tucked in its folds before baking, this shio pan was said to be packed with all that truffle goodness. I will definitely be back to try this out!

For those who want to try out the Croons (S$6.20), they are available for purchase during the pop up as well. Coming in 3 flavours — Biscoff, Pistachio and Dark Chocolate, it would be a shame to miss out on what Swish Rolls are known for.

As this pop up is for a limited time, the exclusivity of these items are huge. Be sure to check them out before 24 May 2023 rolls about, for who knows if these treats will come back.
