With the ever-expansion of this local gelato boutique company, Birds of Paradise Gelato Boutique opens its 5th outlet in Mandai Wildlife West. They reside right outside the new Bird Paradise and officially opened on 8 May 2023.

Seeing the never-ending queues at all their boutiques across Singapore, their expansion only comes naturally and surely for good reasons.

Selling their brand image based on nature and botanical elements, their gelato flavours sees a collaboration of herbs, spices, flowers and fruits. Popular flavours include the Lychee Raspberry and White Chrysanthemum. The latter features dark cocoa nibs mixed into a velvet milk-based gelato, and is a must-get item for many.

On the other end of the spectrum, I prefer their darker and more robust creations with the likes of their Sea Salt Hojicha and Dark Chocolate Sorbet

A Single Cup is priced at S$5.50 and a Double Cup at S$9. Top up S$1.30 for their signature thyme-infused handmade cones. Premium flavours including Pistachio, Vanilla Fig and Midnight Gianduja are priced at an extra S$1 per scoop.

Their new outlet at Mandai sees a new concept with dine-in seating provided. On top of the usual, the team has introduced an outlet-exclusive range of toppings and flavours including Banana & Coconut Caramel, Smoked Chocolate and Coconut Yoghurt.

The Strawberry & Pandan Sundae includes goji berries, toasted coconut flakes and coconut nectar. Another creative pairing with their gelato is their Affogato (S$9.50) which includes a scoop of White Chrysanthemum and an espresso shot poured over.

A sandwich bar has also been launched with savoury tastes and comes in kids portions too. Other food and beverage items are also available at this new outlet. These include baked goods by Mother Dough bakery and coffee selections by Common Man Coffee Roasters.

Preserving their signature baby pink interior and usage of environment-friendly products, I would not be surprised if crowds have already started pouring in at this latest outlet!
