Niu Dian Beef Noodles is not an unfamiliar restaurant to many, considering its popularity in Taiwan and, recently, Singapore. Rather than heading down to Balestier, folks can now go to their brand new outlet in Holland Village, which is opening on 22 May 2023.

Having opened their first Singapore outlet in Feb 2023, Niu Dian Beef Noodles has now moved to opening their second one just 4 months later. If that’s not exciting, wait till you have a look at their new beef rice bowl series!

As international borders are opening up, I am sure many are ecstatic to fly overseas. However, if you wish to remain in Singapore, do not fret! This beef noodle joint will bring authentic Taiwanese cuisine right to you.

Hong Lee Coffeeshop at Eunos Crescent reopens with 16 stalls and a snazzy upgrade

Having earned the Michelin Bib Gourmand award for 3 consecutive years, it guarantees refined grub at reasonable price points. With premium beef cuts flown in from Australia and only authentic Taiwanese marinades used, rest assured that the dishes are of superb quality.

As a rice lover, I am stoked for the new rice bowl series. Of course, the must-try would have to be the Combination Specialty Beef Pearl Rice. The dish is packed with a multitude of different beef cuts — rib cut, tendon and golden coin. Along with the tender beef comes a silky omelette and premium pearl grained rice. A perfect alternative to the beef noodles, in my humble opinion.

However, that’s not to downplay the Combination Specialty Beef Noodles (S$19.90). With a selection between the Original or Braised broth, this dish caters to people who prefer light soup as well as those who like it with a lil’ kick. Noodles are customizable as well, with the doneness of soft, medium or hard.

Niu Dian Beef Noodles — Palace Tea

Drinks here are not ordinary, either. Thanks to Niu Dian Beef Noodles’s partnership with Palace Tea, you can enjoy classic milk teas during your meal. With a total of 15 drinks to choose from, customers will be able to pick their fancy! After all, what better way to enjoy Taiwanese cuisine?

It sure looks like Holland Village will be swamped after this opening. Be sure to check out their new outlet when it opens on 22 May 2023. I know I definitely will.
