From the owners of the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand stall Noodle Story, Gwern Khoo and Ben Tham, comes this refreshing concept which invites diners to create their own ‘Funky’ toast, cooked live before you. The interior sports a playful vibe as tastefully discordant colors are splashed across its decorations and tables, immersing diners in its avant-garde concept.
Their Little (S$13) set lets you pick 1 toast, 1 side or their signature scrambled egg, 1 main, 1 more side, 1 dressing and 1 topping for a full meal. Big eaters can also opt for Balanced (S$17) with more sides or Biggie (S$21) which piles on another main on top of everything else. Carb it up even further with fusili (+S$1) or soba (+S$1) as a base.

Picky bread lovers get to choose from pretzel bun, brioche toast, wholemeal or sourdough bread for their toast. Mains include their popular special tuna mayo, chunky crab meat & prawn (+S$3) and even shabu-shabu pork with special WBS sauce (+S$3). If meat with toast doesn’t do it for you, meatless king oyster mushrooms and creamy burrata cheese (+S$3) are available as well.
Sides range from healthy zucchini “like spaghetti” and mesclun salad leaves to even more meat in smoked beans & spam. Your meal is then dolled up with some dressing offered in equal variety – white truffle emulsion with mushroom duxelles and ah ma’s sriracha spicy dressing being particularly appetising. For toppings, would it be sensible to pick anything other than parmesan cheese?
If you’re petrified by such unprecedented customisability, they have quick picks like the New Yorker (S$16) that comes with a bratwurst sausage and Garden Picks (S$16) which contains no meat.
