Beo Crescent Curry Rice, affectionately known as No Signboard Curry Rice, will be moving out of its existing location on 4 Sept 2022. The stall has been around since 1988, with over 34 years of experience selling Hainanese curry rice.

Despite having no signboard, Beo Crescent Curry Rice has managed to garner a loyal fan base, forming long queues that causes the stall to sell out quickly after lunch.

They are well-known for their Hainanese curry rice that is served cai fan-style, along with many other dishes such as crispy pork, curry squid, stir-fried cabbage and lor bak. With each plate costing between S$5 to S$6 for a hearty comfort meal, it’s no wonder that this Hainanese curry rice stall has been doing so well.

According to customers who’ve spoken with Beo Crescent Curry Rice and the coffee shop’s existing owner, the coffee shop has been bought over by another landlord and will be undergoing renovations. As a result, its existing tenants will have to move out, including the 34-year-old Hainanese curry rice stall.

Though Beo Crescent Curry Rice has intentions to relocate, they’ve yet to decide on where to head to next. Long time customers of the stall are sad to see it leave their beloved Tiong Bahru neighbourhood, and are anxiously awaiting for more news on its relocation.

For those who have yet to try this curry goodness, do head down to 40 Beo Crescent before 4 September 2022, as there’s no telling as to when or where they’ll return.
