Want to try a celebrity chef’s ultimate secret recipes? Atrium Restaurant‘s Executive Chef Chua Yew Hock is collaborating with celebrity chef Siti Mastura to present a fine feast of Malay cuisine from 2 May to 2 Jul 2023.

Atrium Restaurant, located at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium in Outram, is hosting a collaboration of a lifetime. All 5 time-limited dishes are derived from Chef Siti’s secret recipes!

Celebrity Chef Siti — Interior

I had struck gold, having been given the chance to try out these dishes before they were available to the public. The ambience of Atrium Restaurant was classy to say the least, having an open concept that gives the restaurant an airy vibe.

Celebrity Chef Siti — Lamb Rendang

When one thinks of Malay food, rendang will definitely be one of the dishes to come to mind. Their Lamb Rendang was fork-tender with strong aromatic traits. Lemongrass lovers are sure to enjoy this rendang rendition!

Celebrity Chef Siti — Cucur Udang

However, the Cucur Udang was my favourite savoury dish of the night. The fried morsel contained hefty prawn chunks which truly shone thanks to their fresh taste. The batter was light and fluffy, rather than crispy, which gave more attention to the prawns imbedded.

Celebrity Chef Siti — Chef SIti

Iconic enough, Chef Siti is more known for her pastry skills rather than culinary expertise. As such, it was a surprise to see more of a savoury selection at the buffet. However, this is not to say she did not have the culinary prowess, which has been clearly proven in the feast.

Ramen shop with super rich tonkotsu, Bari-Uma Ramen (Tanglin), officially closed

Therefore, I was immensely excited for the Banana Nagasari with Gula Melaka Butterscotch and was not disappointed. The banana and coconut flavours were prominent, creating a great harmony that could not be ignored. I especially adored the butterscotch drizzle that added a nice moist sweetness to the steamed cake.

There is even 50% off for adult prices during this feast period! Lunch prices are S$46 per adult and S$25+ per child on weekdays, and weekend prices are at S$49+ and S$25+ respectively.

On the other hand, dinner prices are S$55+ per adult and S$30+ per child on weekdays, and weekend prices are S$60+ and S$30+ respectively.

With this spread limited to being only from 2 May to 3 Jul 2023, it would be a shame to miss out on this feast collaboration with Chef Siti. You can also enjoy the other dishes along with it, including this luxurious chocolate fountain! Great for families, if I do say so myself.
