Those who often cafe-hop in Singapore are likely familiar with Hello Arigato. This well-known cafe has made a name for itself in the local F&B scene, with 4 outlets islandwide. If you seek a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, Hello Arigato’s Everton Park outlet is a great spot to visit.

For those who aren’t familiar with Hello Arigato, the cafe is most known for its sandos and shokupan, as well as its stuffed doughnuts and assorted bakes. The Everton Park outlet, which just opened in May 2023, also offers some outlet exclusives that you can’t find at their other locations!

hello arigato - dishes

Hello Arigato’s sandos are perhaps their most well-known products. At Everton Park, they have 2 outlet exclusive flavours, namely the Whisky BBQ Katsu Sando (S$18), filled with a freshly breaded chicken katsu, Suntory whiskey BBQ sauce, melted cheddar and apple slaw, and the Kong Bah Sando (S$18), containing tender braised pork belly, home-made braising sauce, takana zuke and slaw.

Pork belly lovers won’t be let down by the bright, explosive flavours of the Kong Bah Sando!

We also tried the Wagyu Hamburg Gyu Sando (S$28), made with a homemade Wagyu hamburg beef patty, caramelised sweet onion jam and American cheddar. The beef patty was juicy and super thick, though I thought that the bread and meat combo was a tad dry.

hello arigato - salted egg tater tots

Other outlet exclusives at Hello Arigato’s Everton Park outlet include the Salted Egg Tater Tots (S$12), which are mini hash browns drizzled with homemade salted egg yolk sauce, cereal topping and curry leaves. I enjoyed how crispy each tater tot was, with the savoury salted egg sauce providing a nice umami flavour.

hello arigato - cauliflower fritters

Even if you dislike traditional cauliflower, Hello Arigato’s Cauliflower Fritters (S$10) may change your mind. These deep fried florets are topped with Japanese garlic soy glaze, sour cream, toasted sesame, togarashi and scallions, to elevate the flavours of the crunchy vegetable.

hello arigato - doughnuts

My favourite food item from Hello Arigato was without a doubt, their Milk Doughnuts. Each doughnut is freshly made every day, and come in 13 whopping flavours, with prices ranging from S$4.50 to S$6.

I fell in love with the pillowy softness of each doughnut, and cutting them open proved to be an even greater delight— look at how generously packed the fillings are!

Take your pick from flavours like Classic Milk (S$4.50), Uji Matcha (S$5.50), Houjicha Hour (S$5.50), Black Goma (S$5.50) and more. The Blueberry Cream-Cheese (S$6) is a flavour catered towards fans of sweet yet tangy cream cheese, complete with a generous swirl of tasty blueberries.

Our tastebuds were refreshed by the zesty flavours of the Mango Passionfruit (S$5) doughnut, while the sweet, coconut-ty aroma of the Kaya Butter (S$5.50) doughnut delighted us.

hello arigato - drinks

Of course, Hello Arigato also has lovely drinks to quench your thirst. I tried Matcha Chokoreto (S$6 for hot, S$7 for iced) for the first time and enjoyed how the earthy notes of the matcha blended well with the rich dark chocolate within.

For a more refreshing beverage, how about grabbing a cold brew, like the Sencha Yuzu Cold Brew Tea (S$6.50) or the Lavender Hojicha Lemonade Cold Brew Tea (S$6.50)?
