New in town: Hovoh Cafe, River Valley — Grab-and-go cafe concept provides healthier, nutritious dishes along Mohamed Sultan Road

Healthy eating has been made easier with the newly opened Hovoh Cafe, located along Mohamed Sultan Road in River Valley.

Hovoh Cafe is a new grab-and-go concept cafe by Hovoh Homes, a lifestyle brand by CP Residences. Its selection of healthy, nutritious dishes include bahn mi, rice bowls, burritos and pasta. Their ingredients are obtained from local sources, which are in line with Hovoh’s commitment to sustainability.

Start your day right with Hovoh Cafe’s Breakfast Tortilla Wrap (S$7.50), filled with a chicken patty, sliced egg, cabbage and cherry tomatoes. If you’re feeling especially hungry, go for the Breakfast Feast (S$14), consisting of a chicken patty, poached egg, pork bacon, chicken chipolata, mushrooms and baked potato.

For lunch, Hovoh Cafe’s Rice Bowls are made with mixed white and brown rice. Choose from three varieties: Red Curry Fish (S$16.80), Green Curry Pork (S$14.80) and Yellow Curry Surf & Turf (S$15.80). Each rice bowl comes with a side of edamame, sweet corn and cabbage salad.

The Hovoh Signature Banh Mi (S$12.80) would likely cater towards bread lovers. Filled with a choice of chicken or pork, soft pate, rossa lettuce, pickles and garden vegetables, this treat isn’t just wholesome but looks absolutely delectable too!

Of course, if you’re in the mood for something a little more indulgent, Hovoh Cafe has you covered with their richer dishes, like the Creamy Pasta with Mushroom (S$12.80), containing pork bacon, mushroom, parmesan cheese and coated in rich cream sauce, and the Ham & Cheese Deluxe Sandwich (S$12.80), consisting of sliced ham and cheddar cheese with a side of potato wedges.
