There has been a recent spike in international F&B chains opening in Singapore, with the likes of Kelim Dakdoritang and Katsu-an being some recent additions this year. Lovers of Korean cuisine will definitely be excited to learn that the popular chain restaurant, ilmiri Korean Fusion Cuisine, has opened in our country.

ilmiri Korean Fusion Cuisine is a well-known chain with almost 200 outlets in Korea. You may have seen it featured in some of your favourite K-dramas, like Vincenzo and The First Responders. Their first venture in Singapore can be found along Circular Road, located near Clarke Quay MRT Station.

ilmiri’s signature dishes include Mari (S$47.90), which is a stew served with marinated meat rolls, Cloud Cheese Jjimdak ($41.90), a braised chicken dish topped with mozzarella cheese, and the Mixed Platter (S$49.90).

The great thing about ilmiri is that many of its dishes are suitable for sharing, so that you and your loved ones can enjoy a huge pot of food together. How about having some Dakdoritang (S$39.90), a well-loved Korean spicy chicken stew, or a Jiajiang Sauce Jjimdak (S$37.90), a braised chicken dish, to split with your friends and family?

Those who prefer single serving portions can enjoy dining at ilmiri too. Try one of their individual sets, like the Korean Tofu Stew with Beef Bulgogi & Rice Bowl (S$16.90), a chilli-oil based stew served served with a side of beef bulgogi and rice, or the Pork Bulgogi Bibimbap (S$14.90).

There’s even a vegetarian option, the Vegetarian Bibimbap (S$12.90), ensuring that those who adopt a meatless diet can dine at ilmiri too.

Other dishes to look forward to include the Truffle Jjajang Jjimdak (S$37.90), Crunchy Potato (S$17.90), Eonyang Bulgogi (S$28.90) and Soybean Paste Stew (S$16.90). With the extensive selection of Korean dishes available, I can’t wait to pay a visit!
