Despite being on the smaller size, this mart has an abundance of Korean goods. You can expect classics like canned food, tidbits and hangover drinks. Oddly enough, they have rare Coolpis flavours like Pineapple (S$1.40) and Peach (S$1.40) that will surely attract some curiosity.

3. emart24

Korean Supermarket LF — emart24

When discussions about the most happening Korean stores start, emart24 will be one of the first to be mentioned. First established in 2014, this Korean brand has now grown to be a household name with over 5,500 stores all over Korea.

Offering affordable meals, drinks, lifestyle items and even cosmetics, this store is always crowded with eager customers.

Since this spot caters mostly to fresh Korean cuisine, their snack variety is not too massive. However, they do offer authentic Korean snacks like Ime Icheon Rice Traditional Snacks (S$2) and Jaju Rice Puffs Snack (S$3.50), which are especially addictive.

Be sure to check out their assortment of Korean packet drinks like Mint Green Tea Latte (S$2) with the classic cups with Ice (S$0.80) we can keep seeing on Korea 7-11 vlogs! Almost feels like you are in Korea, without the cost of a plane ticket.

4. Mom’s Table Korea Mart

Korean Supermarket LF — Mom's Table Korean Mart

Don’t let Mom’s Table Korea Mart‘s tiny interior fool you as this store in Bukit Timah hides an array of hidden items rarely found in other marts. They even sell fresh banchan perfect for accompanying your rice meals at home. Freshly made Kimchi for S$12? Yes, please!

Korean Supermarket LF — Selection

Personally, I saw many more Korean ingredients than the average Korean mart here, which is handy for those who are searching for items used in Korean recipes. Examples would be Rice Noodles (S$4) and Ramensari (S$1.20), which I had never seen before.

There are also ready-to-eat goods like frozen Korean Sweet Pancakes and soups — Beef Short Rib Soup (S$18.90) and Seasoned Clams Soup (S$12) for the folks who wish to enjoy “homemade” meals without the hassle.

6. Market Blue

Tanglin Mall is now getting quite crowded, thanks to the opening of Market Blue back in Nov 2022. Being an all-in-one Korean supermarket for both experiences and shopping galore, this Korean mart is full of goodies to explore!

Korean Supermarket LF — Ramyeon Library

Replicating the famous Starfield Library in Seoul, this Ramyeon library is sure to turn some heads (and take up some photo storage on your phone). Containing over 20 different types of ramyeon packets, this shelf makes for a great browsing session for your next favourite Korean noodle. Each packet is S$2 too, making it very hard to say no!

Hungry while shopping? Their in-house restaurant Gogipan offers countless Korean dishes that help curb your Korean food cravings. Rumour has it that they make a mean authentic version of Baekban, which is rice paired with a couple of side dishes.

7. Shine Korea

Korean Supermarket LF — Shine Korea

Said to sell over 4,000 products from fresh goods to snacks to condiments, each Shine Korea outlet is the go-to spot for anything Korean. This Korean supermarket is clearly one of the top picks and also one of the most accessible with a total of 12 outlets across Singapore.

Having visited the GR.ID Mall outlet, I was pretty impressed with the selection there. Just as you glide across one aisle, there’s another next to it offering even more hard-to-get Korean goodies.

Korean Supermarket LF — Sauces

This is the must-come place if you require any ingredients from your Korean recipe. Rare items I’d never seen before like Wheat Noodles (S$3.40)Mild Ssamjang Paste (S$3.20), and even Korean Sweet Pancake (S$4.70) were available.

Specifically, I was amazed that Buldak Hot Chicken Carbonara Gyoza (S$6.90) was actually a thing. For 40 to 44 pieces per bag, it’s really getting bang for your buck.

Once again, ingredients are abundant in Lee Mart. Ready-made sauces for almost anything you can think of — Ginseng Chicken Stew (S$13.90) and stew sauce for Soondubu Jjigae (S$3.20) are one of their most-sold items. Bulgogi stir-fry sauces are up for grabs, too, for those who wish to replicate the taste back in their own kitchen.

Lee Mart has the tendency to introduce new products regularly, with the recent ones being more variety from the beloved Samyang Buldak series. Instant noodles are truly in abundance here.

9. Sol Mart

Sol Mart

For the thrifty bunch, Sol Mart is a haven of Korean goods at heavy discounts. Often, this Korean supermarket offers selected items for much lower prices, so your pockets will not be too empty here!

Instant Noodle selection

Unlike the others on this list, this mart has quite an array of seafood. Jogaetang fans will be elated to know that there are multiple brands of boiled clams to choose from, with Cockles (S$15) and Abalone (S$20.10) joining the party.

Little ones will be starstruck when visiting, thanks to Sol Mart’s unique Pororo collection. Yes, I’m talking about the cute penguin with goggles. Even I have to admit their Pororo & Friends Cacao Cookies (S$2.50) look too adorable to not buy. There are drinks like Blueberry (S$1.50) and even Banana (S$1.50)!

Need some Korean cuts of meat but don’t want to travel to Bukit Timah? The Butcher’s Dining in Havelock makes for another fantastic option. Korean-run, you can rest assured that the chefs know their way around beef and pork to get the perfect cut for Korean cooking.

Well-known in Korea, products from Myeong In Myeong Chon occupy quite an extensive space on the shelves here. Rather than regular gochujang, they have an assortment of different flavoured Stir-Fried Red Pepper Paste with Shiitake Mushroom and Baby Anchovies. Perfect for adding some intriguing flavours to your cooking!
