UFO burgers are a common side in Korea as a street vendor food, and these tasty flying saucer-shaped delights have now landed in Singapore. Kowboy Burger has recently opened their doors at 25 Bali Lane with a lineup of these funky UFO-shaped burgers, as well as a selection of milkshakes.
Kowboy Burger is started by the owners of King of Wagyu, which is a halal wagyu distributor, and Waku Waku, Singapore’s first halal yakiniku store.
The UFO burgers are essentially fillings encased in pita bread, before being placed into a special machine that toasts and seals them into the iconic flying saucer shape.
If you’ve ever had a really great burger, bitten into it, and then realised that all the filling has fallen out the other end, well… you won’t be having this problem here. The sealed UFO shape makes the burgers easy to eat on the go, which is handy as Kowboy Burger is a takeaway concept with no dining area.
The UFO burger lineup includes 6 different types with both chicken and wagyu beef options. The UFO Cosmic Truffle (S$12.80), also known as the Signature Truffle Beef Burger, contains a Japanese wagyu patty, mushrooms, homemade truffle mayo, and drizzles of truffle oil.
For those who just want the good old-fashioned burger experience, the UFO Nebula Classic (S$10.90) or Classic Beef Burger is the one for you. There are also intriguing options such as pineapple and beef, grilled mushroom, and lychee with chicken chop.
Kowboy Burger also has sweet treats in the form of rich and creamy milkshakes which are all made to order. They are available in 3 flavours (chocolate, strawberry and vanilla) and each costs S$9.80.
To celebrate their opening, from now till end of Jan 2025, Kowboy Burger’s burgers and milkshakes will be offered at a promotional price of just S$8.80, so don’t drag your feet on this.
