If you’re a fried chicken aficionado, there’s a good chance you’ve probably heard of Raising Cane’s, a US-based fast food chain that specialises in chicken tenders paired with a sauce that some have described as extremely addictive.

While the actual Raising Cane’s won’t be opening in Singapore anytime soon, the good news is that you can get a taste of it from halal-certified Tomahawk King Steakhouse & Grill (formerly known as Tomahawk King & Omookase).

Together with the new name and look, comes a new menu. Among the items includes the King’s Chicken Fingers, which draws inspiration from Raising Cane’s. These are available daily until 4pm, after which you can enjoy them in Carnivore Feasting Platters from S$228

Chicken thigh strips are marinated for 24 hours in buttermilk before being coated in a specialty batter that took the owners 3 years of R&D to create. Combos are available as either 2 piece (S$13) or 3 piece (S$19), and include Buttered Sesame Toast, Mozzarella Dippers, Crinkle-cut Fries, King’s Dip and King’s Ranch, and a soft drink. Additional dipping sauce can be purchased for S$5 per cup.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a steak house without some steaks on the menu, would it? One of the new beef items is the Signature Wagyu Tomahawk Steak (S$148). It’s 550g of Australian Wagyu from King River Farms, grilled to perfection. This large bone-in tomahawk is served with 2 side dishes, mushroom sauce and garlic herb butter.

Want a fattier cut instead? The Picanha Culotte (S$42) is 300g of Australian Grass-Fed MB2/3. It’s served with a choice of 2 sides and Samyang Mayo. This tender cut is balanced out by a layer of fat on one side that gives the leaner section of meat more moisture and additional depth of flavour.

If yakiniku is more your style, the A5 Thick-Cut Hireshita Signature (S$248 for 2 pax) is your choice. Feast on 300g of A5 thick-cut Hireshita fingers, 100g of A5 thin-cut Hireshita Usgiri, 100g of Australian ribeye, fresh tiger prawns, assorted vegetables and more.

Or perhaps try the A5 Thick-Cut Rosu Signature ($268 for 2 pax). This platter includes 300g of A5 thick-cut Rosu fingers, 100g of A5 thin-cut Hireshita Usugiri and 100g of Australian ribeye. Just like the other set, there’s also fresh tiger prawns and assorted vegetables, but it comes with an additional shoyu onsen egg dip.

Also, Tomahawk King Steakhouse & Grill is offering 20% off till 1 Dec 2024 on any order of the following:

  • King’s Chicken Fingers Sets
  • Signature Wagyu Tomahawk Steak
  • Both A5 Wagyu Yakiniku Signatures

Grab your friends and family and head down! I’m on way, too.
