Christmas trees have been a staple of Christmas, dating back to the Renaissance in early modern Germany. That’s only a couple of centuries back, yet no one seemed to wonder what it’ll be like to be able to make your own edible Christmas tree. Joy Luck Teahouse’s Festive Egg Tart Set might just make that happen.

Joy Luck Teahouse’s Festive Egg Tart Set comes with 2 boxes of 6 assorted egg tarts. The idea is to stack the individual tarts to make a sweet and crumbly egg tart Christmas tree for your picking. The set goes at a special price of S$26.80 (U.P. S$30.80).

The set is available from 1 to 31 Dec 2022 at the following Joy Luck Teahouse outlets: Chinatown, ION Orchard, Bugis Junction, Junction 8 and Plaza Singapura. Each set will contain 6 different flavours.

Lychee Popping Joy is a tart made with a crumbly cookie crust and egg custard centre. The centre is embedded with refreshingly sweet lychee pearls that will bring joy to the mouth. Pandan features one of Singapore’s quintessential and favourite flavours, and it features Joy Luck Teahouse’s signature egg tart infused with natural pandan extract.

There’s also something for those who prefer something less sweet— the Dark Chocolate egg tart, which contains rich 72% dark chocolate and makes a great accompaniment to the buttery crust and silky custard. The OG Joy Luck Teahouse favourites, such as the Original Cookie and Original Flaky, are also included in the set.

Finally and probably the most anticipated egg tart is the Egg Tart Made with KITKAT®. First launched during Christmas last year, it is now back as a limited-time offering. This egg tart comes with a chocolatey KITKAT® spread layered between the buttery cookie crust and the signature smooth custard. It also has bits of crunchy KITKAT® wafers, giving it a unique texture.

Settle both your Christmas tree and treats in one go!
