A common guess would be the removal of the unpopular tray return system and some miscellaneous repair works. However, some folks argue that the only change that happened were the food prices.
Block 163 Bukit Merah Central Food Centre commenced Repairs & Redecoration (R&R) work on 1 Mar 2023, with such work occupying the whole month. Among the few hawker centres scheduled for such, Bukit Merah Central Food Centre was the first to finish.
I am sure many of the office folks nearby would be pleased, seeing as to how Bukit Merah Central Food Centre could be a rather convenient lunch option. With delicious options like Day Night Fried Kway Teow , there will no doubt be an array of food for you to choose.
Lai Hin Fish Ball Kway Teow Mee is said to be a rather popular option as well. The stall is said to be the busiest stall in Bukit Merah Central Food Centre during lunch hours. Authentic fish balls and QQ noodles are sure to be a crowd favourite.
Those who are going to Bukit Merah Central Food Centre, an important note would be that most of the stalls only open from morning to late afternoon. As such, it might not be the best place to visit for dinner. Singaporeans who live nearby, this would be a great place to enjoy a refreshing meal before heading off to continue the day’s festivities.
