In the past, how many of us remember taking the North East Line and passing by Woodleigh MRT without stopping? Well, I did. Fast forward to the present, the bare forested area now has tons of new BTO flats. It also has a spanking new shopping spot called The Woodleigh Mall, which soft launched on 9 May 2023.

Due to its soft opening phase, many of its retail outlets are still in the midst of opening. But let me focus on what matters on our site… the available dining options!

If you’re hooked on the delicious vegan burgers from Veganburg (#01-37), you’ll be glad to know that you needn’t travel all the way to Eunos just to satiate your cravings, with the opening of their new branch here.

Bulgogi Syo (#01-33/34) has opened their 2nd branch here with their first outlet located at Bugis. Their grilled meats are seared on quality hot stone pans and torched using their unique blowtorch guns.

What’s more, you can witness your meats being flambéed right in front of your eyes on the table.

Enjoy some lip-smacking French roast chicken with a variety of sauces at Poulet (#B1-26/27) or indulge in some Western delights at Collin’s Gastro Dining (#01-24) and Pepper Lunch (#01-54).

Treat your family to a heartwarming feast at Paradise Classic & LeNu (#01-41) which are located side by side. You can also slurp up piping hot bowls of ramen at Hototogisu Ramen (#01-25/26) or enjoy delicacies from the Land of the Rising Sun at Watami Japanese Dining (#02-21) and Genki Sushi (#01-31).

There’s also Burger King (#B1-01), McDonald’s (#B1-11/12) and A&W (#01-40) if you simply want some comforting fast food.

You can also look forward to more dining options that are coming soon. Tenderfresh Xpress (#B1-K20/K21) is a takeaway booth that will be offering 9-inch hand-stretched, made to order pizzas in flavours like Quad Cheese Pizza (S$14.90). If you can’t decide, they also have Half Half Pizza (S$16.90) where you can combine any of their 2 flavours in one.

Food Republic (#B1-09/10) will also be opening really soon. Some of the stalls that will be housed there include Guan Chee HK Roast, Meixi Yong Tau Foo and Lam’s Noodle & Salt Baked Chicken.

With the opening of The Woodleigh Mall, the nearby residents do not have to travel to Serangoon or Potong Pasir to get their meal fixes anymore. See you there!
