As a Westie, I’m incredibly jealous of those residing on the East side this year. With new stalls opening up at Tampines 1’s Hawkers Street, and now a whole new coffeeshop opening up at Pasir Ris, it’s safe to say that east siders won’t have to travel far for good food any time soon.
Kimly Coffeeshop has recently opened at Pasir Ris near Costa Grove. If you’re unfamiliar with the place, I’m sure you’ll know what I’m talking about once I mention these two words: Runaway Horses.

This new branch of Kimly Coffeeshop is located near the stables where the horses escaped earlier this month and were found galloping on the streets of Pasir Ris.
Even without that information, Kimly Coffeeshop is still easily noticeable with its bright red sign, drawing customers in. It stands out for its refreshed look, and 10 new stalls ready to serve the locals in the area.
Let me cut to the chase and tell you what stalls are there.

King Omar has expanded into the East, bringing their signature Cheese Prata (S$2.50) and Roti John (S$6.50) with them. This outlet is a little special, as it features a new variation of prata, that being their Banana Prata (S$3).
Diners shouldn’t miss out on King Omar’s good deals, offering Coin Prata at S$4.50 for 6 pieces and their Bone Steak at S$10 for 4 pieces, giving you more bang for your buck.

Popular Chinese restaurant La Bu La 辣不辣 has also opened a new stall in Kimly Coffeeshop. Some of their must-tries include their Sichuan Spicy Beef Noodles (S$8.80) and their Pork Tribe and Chicken Soup (S$18.80).
While there is a La Bu La 辣不辣 located at Pasir Ris Downtown East, having this stall in a coffeeshop makes it more accessible and convenient for spice lovers to come down and get their spice fix quickly.

Fans of Tze Char will definitely be delighted to know that there is a stall to satisfy all your tze char needs.
Some delights you can try are their Fried Oyster Egg (S$15 for Small) and their Chinese Yellow Wine Chicken (S$22), suitable for those who want to host a large group of friends.

Other stalls include Tenderbest, with their affordable Nasi Lemak Sets, including their Crispy Chicken Wing Set (S$5) and their XXL Fried Chicken Leg Set (S$9), and the staple roasted delights stall, Ding Xiang, selling their assortment of soups at (S$4) and their Roast Duck Noodles ($5.50).
I’ve covered half of the stalls here in this article, and I’ll leave you to go down and find out for yourselves what other stalls there are.
