What began as a simple idea focused on convenient, on-the-go food has since grown into a network of more than 80 outlets across Indonesia

The brand has established a strong presence in major cities such as Bandung and Jakarta, particularly within shopping malls where demand for quick and accessible dining options continues to rise.

Its concept centres on delivering fast, practical snacks without compromising on flavour, aligning with evolving urban lifestyles.

Interest in Chikuro’s arrival in Malaysia has already been building. The brand gained unexpected traction locally through personal shopper or jastip services, where customers arranged for its products to be brought in from Indonesia.

Chikuro’s menu is led by its signature Long-Filled Chicken Roll, a crispy fried chicken roll filled with melted cheese and available in multiple sizes. In addition to its core product, the brand also features Gyuro, a beef variation, and Norimaki, which consists of bite-sized rolls available in chicken, beef, or fish fillings.

For many Malaysians who have already heard about the brand or tried it through jastip, the official arrival feels like a long time coming. For others, this could be a chance to discover a new go-to snack that fits easily into a busy day.

More details are expected to be announced soon. Until then, Chikuro’s entry into Malaysia is one worth keeping on the radar.
