With the new year on the horizon, the crew at Luke’s Lobster Singapore sails towards the new year with new flavours on deck. Launching across all their establishments islandwide, fans can look forward to two new local cuisine-inspired iterations of Lobster Rolls by Annette Tan of FatFuku and sandwich rebels of Park Bench Deli.

First up on the list is the Sambal Achar Lobster Roll (S$30.50). Following an Indian (Thevar) and Sze Chuan (Birds of a Feather) roll, the third installation of Luke’s Goes Local series takes on a different flavour profile paired with Peranakan heat. Created by food author-turned-chef, Annette Tan of FatFuku, the roll is a part of her childhood—where pairing sambal belacan and mayonnaise in sandwiches were a thing.

The simple, yet delicious, medley of flavours will feature chunks of sustainably-farmed lobsters, and a refreshing crunch of chopped Nonya achar tossed in mild sambal belacan mayonnaise and topped with a sprinkle of locally-sourced dill. The tasty roll will be available from now till 15 January 2022 at all Luke’s Lobster Singapore outposts (Great World City, Isetan Scotts and Jewel Changi Airport).

The other addition to the stellar line-up is PBD XO Smoked Duck Lobster Roll (S$30.50). In collaboration with Park Bench Deli—contemporary sandwich masters of Singapore—the roll is made in true American finesse, juxtaposed with Singapore’s love for the iconic Cantonese condiment. I mean, what better way to win our hearts than with classic meat, right? Akin to its other rolls, this roll will be packed with an umami punch and finished with the promise of fragrant smokiness and rich seafood undertones. The roll will be available across all outlets from now till 15 February 2022.
